I actually think they have a pretty good team but they have one huge hole, the QB. If their qbs weren't shit id bet on them to make the playoffs. One thing we have in common is both teams are transitioning away from zone blocking o lines I think. And first year head coaches. And we both sucked last year.

I will be surprised if the Jags are better than Houston.

Actually I wont be shocked if the Jags are one of the surprise teams this year. Im in that market and have seen alot of what the Jags did this off season. Jags did alot to address that defense, and while Bortles might not open the season as the starter, they have two competent QBs on roster going forward.

No, actually it's the other way around the Redskins usually beat the Houston Texans..the only time that Houston beat the Redskins was in 2010 in OT

I personally feel Houston and JAX....couldn't have been better opening games. The media will have us as favorites, and the 'Skins may even be overconfident. I expect to get gashed in the run game but Fitzpatrick and Henne can be counted on to blow the game. After SURVIVING these two games(defensively) it should help us set the tone for the season.

The QB situations for those two teams are THAT bad.

It's the NFL... The first time you think Oh it's Houston week one that's a W is when the skins lose and the bitching begins. Any given Sunday is the saying and the skins were 3-13 so who's looking at them on their schedule saying oh that's a W when they play Washington?

Last year doesn't mean shit and week 2 doesn't mean shit all they should focusing on is texans week 1 and fwiw I've seen Fitzpatrick play some pretty damn good football games in his career.

The last two times that we've faced Fitzpatrick he's won both meetings against us in 2008 with the Bengals and 2011 with the Bills we got shutout in Toronto, even though a lot of you will say well our Oline was terrible and it didn't help that our QB was John Beck..so I wouldn't laugh and say that the Texans game should be a W for us because in all honesty we have struggled and lost against Fitzpatrick the last two times that we've faced him.
