I am not putting the blame for the season on Banister, but I wonder what Tim Bogar is thinking? Not that I personally think Bogar would have made any difference this year.

Is the road performance a fluke?

Has to be something wrong with the splits, they cant be as good as they are on the road and as terrible as they have been at home.

We have just over 65 hours until the deadline. I wonder when our first move will take place. Does the whole thing revolve around the Hamels trade? Will anything happen with us before then? It will be an interesting 65 hours. If the over/under on moves involving the Rangers is 3.5 which way do you guys lean? I will take the under.
One of those Padres pitchers is interesting. Ross. Wonder what it would take to get him. If Hamels falls through, which I'm expecting. Plus a couple of bats in Milwaukee.

I think Bogar is a better manager and he would have made a 2 game difference at this point.
Rangers would be at .500 and 6 games out going into tonight and the trade deadline. Not that it would have changed the outcome of this season but I think things would be more interesting right now.

Had 0 hits in 8.1 innings against 2 relievers. Really surprised when I looked at the box score just now and saw that as I stopped watching in the 2nd inning.

Of what I did see I liked the announcers of Fox Sports 1. They seemed to have knowledge of both teams, did not get over dramatic and called a good game.

And oh yeah. Hamels would be an idiot to come here anyway. He would be smart to go to Houston and load up that lefty rotation.

Hamels has said he WILL NOT go to the Astros.

Besides, pitching in that glorified phone-booth is tough on pitchers in general.

I agree. Thought they did a very nice job, especially when you consider what a bizarre contest they dealt with.

Saying that like Hamels has a choice in the matter? Texas is one of the 10 teams he can be traded to w/o asking his permission. Houston is not.
