Unfortunately it looks like the Mariners don't have the equity to reinvest in their product on the field. I mean gosh, their investment has appreciated by a billion dollars while paying less for the players they run out there. I can't imagine how strapped they are for cash.

If I was the owner of this trainwreck of a team. I would hand a bank bag full of money to all 25 players on the roster.

Then I would tell them to stand at the stadium exits and refund the cost of tonites game to every single person leaving the stadium.

then I would tell them if there is any money left over to use it for bus fair to Tacoma.

Congratulations all 25 of you now play for the Raineers.

Then put the Tacoma Rainiers on the field nightly at T-Mobile and sell tickets to the games for $2
