The basics have been online since 2010 of Bo's scheme. I'm sure it changes from time to time with different players/ability. Unfortunately not much will change in terms of getting better on defense until we start playing with the big boys and win, anything, that matters. We're on a repeating cycle in avg recruiting/avg results

Maybe so, but to me there was no excuse for us to not be competitive against OSU and especially against that powerhouse 7-5 Wiscy team in the Big title game. I know that we can't always go by comparable scores, but when just about every team is competitive against those two teams, yet we get blasted by them, something is just plain wrong.

So far we are 1-1 with the big B1G boys, whoever has home field advantage it seems so far, I'm ok with that

I'm not okay with the total blowouts, but the last bowl game was good until the fumble at the end of the game.

Until the defense is contoured for college kids, instead of pro players, I don't see the defense getting much better until the perfect storm occurs. The perfect storm is having 9 to 11 great senior defensive players on the field at the same time, and an experienced / talented offense also. How often does that happen at any college?

I'm just trying to help you guys, by bringing you back down to the ground!

My parting shot... If we had all 5 star players in the last recruiting class, no Nebraska fan should have the great, we're going all the way optimism. In four years maybe, when those players are all seniors. That's of course if they don't transfer by then!

No fucking way Pelini runs the same defense next season.

Pelini had the chance to change right before Nebraska played that powerhouse 7-5 Wiscy team in the Big title game, but he didn't. I can't say whether we would have beaten them, but I can say for sure that Nebraska should have been competitive against them for 4 quarters.

First of all that sheet was from a couple years ago. Second of all I can't help but laugh at you thinking you know a cot damn thing about coaching or what was in there that needed to change. Any armchair quarterback can say "oh this needs to change"

There are 5 year old girls who could tell you that. The one glaring thing that has been established will change is an emphasis on 1-on-1 full contact tackling.

The sheet talked about touching off. They aint gonna do much touching off anymore.

I know I know, a 70-31 BLOWOUT would have happened to any team in the country even with the very best coaches out there. LMAO!

Let me tell you a little secret... Even a five year old can see our NFL defensive coach Pelini needs to simplify the defense so "COLLEGE KIDS" can learn it before their eligibility runs out. NFL players don't have college to go to, so they have a lot more time to learn over complicated schemes.

The two BLOWOUTS the fans and the players had to endure last year displayed defensive players who looked like chickens with their heads cut off. They had no clue what to do defensively. Pathetic!

Maybe it was from a couple of years ago, but we're still seeing the Cosgrove like BLOWOUTS!!!!!!!! Don't criticize my posts when you were ready yourself to hang our coaching staff a while back. Despite Pelini's defensive strangeness, I still think he's a good coach overall.
