It's a solid pick. Jones is 32. Coming off a great season, but at some point, he'll lose a step.

Shaw looked good in nickel snaps last year once they realized Hall was old and busted.

With how teams spread things out now, you really do need 3 CB's and 4 DB's that can cover speed guys.

He's a top 5 pick if he's not hurt. Teams have passed on him so he can fall to a playoff team a la the Bengals

I get that, but...again, not worth the 1st round risk.

For the record, I would have been fine with Jack there, but if you are uncertain with the knee, then you have to pass.

The guy can play on an island, and was asked to do it a lot, and did it well.

A lot of people had him as one of the top CB's in the draft because of his ability to cover 1-1. You'd like to see some better hands, but led the nation in PBU.

What? Any GM would deal with him. Make an offer and you get a deal. The team has their reasons for not moving much off their spots, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with other GMs being butthurt.

I'm just repeating Jimmy Johnson's. He publicly said other GM's would never bother with him because his idea of making a deal is to win it in a lopsided way.
