Can you please give me some facts? Tell me the local businesses in which Mike Brown has served as chairman of the board.

I'll wait.

As far as my interpretation of how things work at Bengalland, I'm pretty confident about my abilities to figure out the mind of Marvin Lewis and the mind of Mike Brown. I have too much information over the years to compile complete pictures of their motivations and behaviors. .

This might be one of the dumbest things I've ever read on either ESPN or SportsHoopla..... You don't have shit for information - None of us do. You have what everyone else does - newspaper articles, an internet connection, and your imagination. The sticking point is that you fail to differentiate between your imagination and facts. One is easily accessible (your imagination) and the other will forever be beyond your reach (facts).

And really, what the hell does MB being a good local guy/businessman have to do with drafting?

The whole point of the argument is that he is no longer 100% in control of the draft. You complained about teams (other GM's) not wanting to deal with Mike Brown. You yourself have said that Tobin pretty much has the final call, and that Brown may make the final decision, but it is Tobin that is pretty much the defacto GM at this point.

Considering the fact that nearly all the other NFL teams would know that they are now working with Tobin, and not Mike Brown, how does anything you have to say about Brown running the draft hold any water?

Also, considering that Tobin is the guy doing the main portion of the draft, isn't the issue of trading picks more up to him than Brown? If Brown is just following Tobin's advice, and Tobin wants to move up, then most likely the Bengals would move up. So, really, everything you have said about Brown in running the draft is incorrect. Maybe in 1994 it was right (and it was), but not in 2016.

So, again I ask, how does this have anything to do with Brown running the draft and not doing things that you feel need to be done? Simple answer: It doesn't. It's time to move on and find another fight to pick, because you are wrong on this one, and it's just time to admit you got turned around and let's all move forward to another argument.

Paul Allen is a terrible businessman. Every business he's ran has failed,...until he found the formula with the Seahawks.

You know...aside from that $450,000,000,000 business he co-founded.

Seriously, I was just thinking about that again and laughing. This is seriously so awesomely ridiculous. It might be my favorite thing ever posted on SportsHoopla.

The blatant grammar mistake in your false claim makes it even better.

This was the biggest value pick for the Bengals in the draft.

Had the Bengals tried to move up, they probably would have given away this pick in order to assure themselves of getting the WR they wanted (My guess is Doctson was #1 on their board).

While having a WR like Doctson would have been great, holding onto the pick, and ending up with the WR from the 2nd round AND this guy, gives the team a lot more depth/value than just ending up with Doctson, as good as a fit as I think he would have been.

This kid is a stud. Teams were shying away from his height and the fact that many project him to be a 2-down DT on the run stuffing side. For the Bengals, that's perfect, because they rotate their DL so much, usually the NT (Peko in this case) is not on the field on passing downs anyway.

Doctson may have been the best WR in the draft. He was my favorite. However, if to move up it meant giving up the 3rd or 4th, we made the right call. Billings could clearly be a starter soon, and Boyd clearly is, so addressing 2 holes with players who will actually end up playing is bigtime for me.

I'm happy with this years draft. It appears as though we didn't waste a 1-4th round pick on a guy who will sit the bench for 3 years, so I'll call it a win

I think it's safe to say he's a monster. I really hope he starts over Peko this year. Most likely not because... Reasons...
