Adam and Eve did not have any genetic defects, and that enabled them and the first few generations of their descendants to have a far better genetic pool than we do now.

I have a STEPZ app (free) on my phone andit measures every step I take as long as I'm carrying it or it's in a pocket.

I walk at least two miles or more every day for my exercise.

My phone says my average is 7969. Because I don't always have it with me I'd guess it's actually about 9000

According to the app Itook over 456,750 in 2021 and have taken over 6,300,000 since I installed the app.

I have run tracker on my phone but do not use it.

I use a Garmin Fenix 3 that tracks steps, HR, Sleep (deep and light) pace, and more that syncs with my phone so I can compare daily activities.
When I activate the watch for an activity like Run, Bike, swim it also tracks elevation, location, lap splits (I have mine set for each mile), and more.

I love it but it is time to update to a Fenix 6.
