Heisman, who you got?
Hunter wins it. That’s total bullshit, Jeanty was robbed, Hunter just got it because he’s a flashier player who gets more media attention. This is the first time I’ve felt like the Heisman wasn’t given to the right guy in a while, but it exposes the award as a popularity contest and nothing more - it wasn’t given to the best player, it was given to the most popular player. Travesty.
I hear what you’re saying about it always going to an offensive star player that’s hyped up, but this was a blatant robbery, worst robbery in the history of the Heisman probably - Jeanty got Boise St to the playoff. Hunter is definitely a great player but this was all about flash and style over substance. And I think Deion being his coach played a role, the media can’t get enough of him and the media attention for him helped Hunter. If Jeanty played for a Power 4 school he would’ve had a better chance at winning it I think, but this exposes the Heisman as style over substance.Really?
They simply need to rename the award as the Most Hyped Offensive Player Adored by the Media.
Has been this way since I've been alive. It has NEVER been about awarding the actual best player in college football.
Until an offensive lineman or a defensive tackle wins the award, that is all it will ever be.

Suh was a beast in college, I remember how dominant he was. But yeah it’s very unlikely a defensive player wins it, unless they’re a 2 way player like Hunter.I'm obviously biased, but Ndamukong Suh not winning in 2009 was a joke.
Mark Ingram won and wasn't even the 7th best player on his own team.

I'm embarrassed that OP left the poll open past the results being announced. I just voted. I'm 100% correct in these types of things.
You have a fake corn cob boner as your avatar and this is embarrassing for you?
