I think we are fine at PG. Drafting Napier did address that issue. You put the money into Nelson and you don't have anything left over elsewhere. I do agree with you on Okafor. He would have helped. But we are that bad off at center.

Bosh/Birdman is solid... You got Noah in Chicago, Lopez in NJ, maybe Al Jefferson (is he a true center).. The centers in the East are bad. I would take my chances with Bosh against those guys. We aren't as bad as a lot of you think.

I think the Heat starting lineup is pretty solid.

Chalmers
Wade
Deng
McRoberts
Bosh

Cole/Nappier, Granger, Ennis, Birdman, UD off the bench. The only thing we are really lacking is a 3 point specialist.

I guess you could include Drummond and Al Horford in the top centers in the East... which only strengthens my point about being okay with Bosh

The roster isn't bad. The point guard issue doesn't bother me much. Lack of a shooting specialist & center bothers me but something tells me Dawkins makes the roster as the specialist. The center issues isn't that terrible unless we are playing brook lopez, al Jefferson, or them boys in Chicago out east. It's all about learning the system & gaining chemistry with one another. This is a big adjustment for the coaching staff & the guys who were here last year. I'm having trouble in 2k15 so far getting used to playing with the heat now without the best player on the planet so I can imagine how it is in real life

Granger & ennis can be really good off the bench. Danny has scored double digits in 2 of the 4 preseason games and is shooting 7 for 18 from 3 which is respectable percentage while ennis has been amazing in preseason

Riley dropped the ball in the offseason at both positions.

Should have picked up Nelson who is better than anything we have and instead of picking up guys like Reggie Williams and Sean Williams, he should have signed Okafor.

Riley was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Obviously if he knows James isn't returning, everything is handled differently from draft night all the way through FA.

No question about it. Highly doubt they draft Napier. Probably draft someone who would fit our needs more

shabazz may be the better option for the Heat over Nelson. may not. we shall see.

but Ennis. Ennis "The Menace" is going to be a big contributor for Miami this year. By playoff time I could easily see him as the first man off the bench for Miami.

I feel like we are more or less on the type of schedule as we were for the 2 seasons leading up to the signing of the Big 3.
Riley isn't going to do anything the next couple seasons that will jeopardize cap space for the summer of '16.
