One thing you cannot underestimate about Carroll is his ability to relate to and lead the black athlete. Since the Seahawks have no white players, that is a huge factor in his favor.

Maybe. I make snap judgments sometimes but in general my initial reactions turn out to be correct. I certainly would not allow a defense lawyer to scare me into making the wrong decision because he threatened to play the race card.
