this Thursday will be a WAR .... a "must-win" for Zona. As long as Palmer doesn't go INT crazy, should be very close til the end.

GO CARDS ! :yahoo:

I think they mentioned on air yesterday that Richard Sherman has 7int in his last 10 games. The Sherman vs Fitz battle is going to be awesome. It's not often Fitz has a guy covering him who can match him inch for inch.

BIG PLAYS.

Hawks need to eliminate those on the defensive side and they should be able to win this game.

As Hawk fans this definitely not a game to take lightly. Arizona has been a "house of horrors" for the Hawks as they have dropped 6 of their last 7 in the desert. Weird stuff has happened in those games whether it be blowing about 7 shots at the end zone last year, Fitz's one handed catch in OT the year before or Hasselbeck and Alexander botching a hand off in the final minutes leading to a loss in 2007.

Regardless whether Calais Campbell can play will be a huge deal for the cards as he is a force on that D-line. Containing that D-line of Dockett, Williams and Campbell will be the key on offense. Defensively the Hawks just need to get pressure on Palmer. It doesnt sound like Clemons will play so guys like Irvin, Avril and Bennett need to get after it.
Also please dont give up anymore flukey special team touchdowns. Thanks!!!

Fitz was coming off a hamstring last week. He may still not be 100% for us, but even a 90% Fitz is better than most WRs in the NFL.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Again, I think BeastMode makes the difference, and helps get us the W. That and Palmer throwing against the Legion of Boom.

This is why, when looking at the next handful of games last week, I didn't think it was a good idea to book this game or the St. Louis game as wins. No matter how they look in their other games, it is always a tough game going to Arizona and St. Louis. Both games could very well come down to the last few minutes like they seem to do every time we go on the road to play them.

That Cards' defense is deceivingly good. Seattle may have lucked out that Campbell (who should be ok) got hurt. Don't know if he'll play or not, but a bruised spine has to set you back.

I think Seattle will be fine though. That Cardinals' OL is just bad.

I know this may be a little over dramatic, but the Seahawks have to own the division. The Seahawks played a horrible game in Arizona last year, passing on chances to win and dropping 2 GW TDs in the final minute. This year the team has been sloppy and have pulled through it with a good record, mostly because the teams they've played haven't played very well themselves. Both these next two games are must wins, IMO.

Arizona may be better than their 3-3 record indicates. They have only had 2 home games this year and won them both. I can see them winning a bunch more games this season. Lets hope Thursday isn't one of them.

Traveling on a very short week has got to be brutal...

Hopefully Seattle turns things around from last week. They can't expect to come out flat on the road against a divisional opponent and win.

I agree with you about need to win division games. If the Seahawks want HFA, winning division games is a must. With the 49ers just a game behind, Seahawks need to find a way to win in the desert this year. Doesn't have to be a pretty win or flashy, just win it.
Some key players are returning in the next month, so in a way, this is the stretch that can make or break the season.

Arizona has been a house of horrors for Seattle, so coming off a short week I don't care if we look a little out of whack as long as we win the game. They'll have 10 days off to look over any mistakes or misplays that happened and be rested for the Rams. Obviously I want a clean game, but 3 day turn around is asking for a lot especially a road divisional game.

Whats the Hawks record again on nationally televised games? Monday, Sunday night and Thursdays? are they not the best team in the NFL record wise in those games? just some food for thought.

Very true the Hawks are awesome on national tv, i was just saying we've had it rough in the desert for a while so a W anyway is fine by me on a short week. Your right though Screamin, the Hawks do kick it up another gear on national tv.
