He never made a 'football' move. Both feet came down, but right as the 2nd did McCaffrey knocked it out. That's not a completed catch for a WR.. and it's obviously not an INT.

That's a dumb challenge. Almost impossible to overturn something that amounts to maybe two or three more inches. But it'll give the offense time to think about a play to go for it on 4th down.

I think Carroll end of day challenged because he was unsure of what to do and the special teams unit wasn't out. So hey, might as well challenge to buy some time to figure out what he wants to do, which should be kicking the FG.
