Hold a sec while we ask Dobson if that is true

He had a rough first start but after has been playing pretty well. Every indication is that his hands are going to be very good like they were in college.

vernon davis is a slightly faster less intelligent version of ben watson. he would never play in NE with brady. NEVER. besides not being able to catch great he wouldnt understand the pats complicated offense, he couldnt even understand mike martz's offense i would pay big bucks to see vernon's wonderlic score. too bad its not public i bet that shit is under 10. watson had a 48 wonderlic.

never EVER use vernon davis name in the same sentence as graham and gronk again.

Comparing Watson to Davis is far more absurd than comparing Davis to Gronk.

When Flacco signed his contract he was the highest paid player at that moment. Thats good enough for me to get a good long chuckle....

I can understand why you are so defensive though, I probably would be too.

The Ravens are defending Super Bowl champs and Flacco is the reigning Super Bowl MVP. What exactly do I have to be defensive about?

no its not watson has been plagued by injuries in his career, they are virtually the same player. davis does have slightly better hands but not good enough to be compared to gronk/graham.

VS

Vernon Davis
Height: 6'3

Because combine numbers have anything to do with their on the field abilities.

Or are all that close beyond ht, wt, 40 times and decent verticals.

when you only play 12-13 games a year due to injuries you arent gunna perform at your best nor get all the stats you would get if you played a full 16. thought that was common sense. healthy ben watson through his career would be davis twin brother.

Breaker tells other people not to be homers but then he wants Davis to be in the discussion for best TE... lol

Best TE debate starts and ends with Gronk vs Graham.

I am not demanding that Davis is the best, I am just saying he is in the convo.... you can't automatically include a player that hasn't played a single snap this year while automatically excluding a player who is catching TD's while injured for his team and has routinely been one of the best TE's in the league. Well, I guess you can, but I don't think you should.

Gronk hasn't even played this year. I am not saying he shouldn't be in the conversation, but its no slam dunk with him either.
