That's your obsessive opinion. Also ironic coming from a Bucks fan.
Nothing ironic about that. If you can go back and find me proof of Urban accepting someone's scholarship at Ohio State for over 2 years and then pulling the rug out from under him 2 weeks before signing day for no good reason, I'm all ears.

My statement all along has been that this kid isn't some kind of throw away athlete. For some reason, mostly many of my fellow Michigan fans, think the kid is someone that just isn't good enough for Michigan. I keep hearing that the kid didn't work hard enough, or improve enough this past season. There is NOTHING I've seen that says the kid didn't have anything but an incredible senior year. USA Today and Max Preps both ranked him among their top ten Offensive Lineman in the entire country for the 2015 season.

He was the first one to commit to this class, and he still ranked among the best OL in the country (is there really a noticeable difference between the 10th ranked and the 25th ranked OL's anyway?) Hopefully we find out the kid wasn't as good as advertised, or he simply did something bone headed, and that is why Michigan cut him loose. Right now, it just looks really bad on Harbaugh and Michigan.

Yes, location in the country. The 10th ranked player is an east coast kid and the 25th ranked kid is from the west coast, if your looking at ESPIN rankings

Urban Meyer is the farthest thing from the morality police on recruiting and handling a team. Go read about his Florida teams and how much players got away with. He has also over recruited regularly while saying he doesn't. One of his first classes at OSU he signed 27 players giving them 91 scholarship athletes before trimming the fat on players not performing to get down to 85. Every team does it, some more than others.

So Michigan just got a top 100 four star DB yesterday and more interestingly a 3 star OL commit. How on earth is there a stop for a 3 star OL recruit but not a four star, top 100 OL commit? Makes no sense.

Couldn't care less what he did at Florida. He's proven to be an excellent disciplinarian at Ohio State. If you look at Florida outside of Urban, the same things happened. They happened under Muschamp, they even happened in the 90s under Spurrier. That school is a cesspool.

Ohio State has lost several players over the years to medical hardship. Only one actually transferred and is attempting to play elsewhere. If you have any proof of him doing shady shit to any OSU players in terms of just trying to get them off the team, go for it.

I'll admit they were our foster parent there for a few years, but that time has passed

As I said, OSU or any top team for thst matter are no different. They all cut corners and trim roster fat.

Except for the fact he isn't a top 100 OL recruit.

It's pretty obvious the staff thinks they can get better players, Swenson's high school coach was even told so.

Yes but Michigan would never pull a recruit's scholarship just days before the signing day to make room for someone else unless their was a good reason (which of course, conveniently, no one can talk about).

Sorry, top 250. He was a top 100 and dropped. Still seems odd to take a low level 3 star in his place.

Also, Harbaugh had this to add to the discussion this morning:

So maybe the staff doesn't think the kid has much potential or he's peaked?

And I have no clue what the fuck Harbaugh is trying to say.

He's trying to say that there's a second side to a story, one he's not allowed to give. He's suggesting that the whole truth might not be out there in regards to this situation -- at least that's a conclusion you could draw when reading this.

I'll just conclude Harbaugh is shady.

I'm not quite sure why it's banned. I don't understand why coaches can't talk about recruiting until after kids are signed. Seems like a pointless rule.

Did you read the whole thing or just the title? Read down where every medial is shown the reason. Good try though. Still not as shady as Harbs.
