They said they'll look at it. If they definitively said they'll close it, they would have said that.

There is no reason to look at it if they aren't going to close it. Especially to make it a top priority, and with the obvious previous intentions that created the rule you need this loophole for to start with.

But Michigan fans are delusional about the entire thing. If the SEC was the one doing this you'd be up in arms.

I'm so glad I don't work in Ann Arbor anymore. The amount of Harb blowing would be nauseating to hear. Rich Rid and Hoke were bad enough but this is a whole new level.

I'm glad too, no one should have to be there

Shots fired by the B10 commish:

"Big Ten commish Jim Delany on satellite camps: "Coaches coaching at camps doesn't strike me as a bad practice.""
Ralph D. Russo ‏@ralphDrussoAP 27m

"Delany says any national discussion about satellite camps should also include a look at oversigning, grayshirting & "flipping" recruits."

i don't see how it is beneficial to try and somehow stop "flipping recruits" to the recruit.

Sorry Delany is wrong here. They are different issues, he is starting to sound like congress. We need to pass a relief bill for the hurricane, lets add some pork for a pet project across the country in this relief bill.

They are all different issues, but in a way related. The SEC abuses the rules when it comes to all of the other things mentioned. They probably wouldn't be putting up a stink if they weren't banned from going to these camps by their own conference rules.

True but the B1G did put up a stink on oversigning and the SEC changed their rules. The NCAA did not step in on that.

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. If the B10 commish is willing to put up a fight, the SEC might end up having to change their own rule to participate in these camps and not the other way around.

Even the ND AD spoke up about it this morning. Saying that banning simple participation in these camps would face serious legal challenges.

I agree it will be interesting how they figure this all out.

He is doing his job. He works for the B1G and this could help a B1G team with recruiting.

Doing his job part ain't what gets me about him.

It's his history of trying to claim some kind of moral superiority and having the balls to even bring it up while at the same time supporting a loophole and while the SEC has actually passed rules against oversigning etc.

But that's the kind of stuff he does, so it's Delany being Delany.
