Good pounce from behind the plate by Robinson.

Iannetta not being real smart arguing with the ump since he is the catcher and would want the same calls.

NOooooooo

It would kill me to see him go there and then have great success. Might just kill JD too. His success rate on 1st baseman leaves a little to be desired.

I am not a fan, at all, of trading within the division, UNLESS, they blow the doors off.

How on earth do you K on that pitch Chirinos?

I like his occasional power, arm/hustle, and believe he's getting better and better as a catcher though.

I am thinking more from the Astros perspective. Young controllable pitching interests me though. Also, opens up first base for Beltre if we bring back Gallo. We are going to have to open roster spots regardless

Colby with a no-no through 3 and 30 pitches. Beyond good for a guy who this team has owned.

Is anyone, for either team, willing/capable of making the pitcher slow down, and throw more pitches?

Trout is why you don't bunt in the first

Jesus Colby......it looked like the plan was to pitch around this fucker, and look what you did!

This is what I get for saying something good about Lewis against the Angels to begin with I suppose.

That is where you once supposed to pitch to Trout. Times have changed

If that was, as suspected/speculated, Odor did this on his own, it calls (once again) into question, what-the-hell is the dugout doing allowing him to be on his own in the AB to begin with?

Collectively, our baseball IQ - player/mgmt included - doesn't seem to be our strong suit.

Ranger mgt has traditionally had a very loose rein on player decision making

That pitch to Trout was just fucking dumb from Colby, you had 2 strikes on him. Waste another one, and you know he chases the ones up and in, and doesnt catch up most of the time

Well 2 days ago when he blew the 4 run lead in Colorado, people here were screaming to DFA Scheppers. While Napoli is having rough year, he did have some success in the past as a Ranger and we need RH bat/bats. Only if the FO is considering moving MM, would he have any playing time and would be the only reason to make the move. The thought of giving up very little in Scheppers means you pay some of Naps salary and really give up nothing more.
