Not sure why Chapman and Smith weren't saved for the 8th and 9th. That was Joe Maddon type of managing. Plus I am not getting this love for Garver. And I still think Leon should be Gray's catcher but no one is touching that on this board. What did it hurt keeping him around and leaving Huff down at RR.

I am unsure if the approach at the plate has changed or they just aren't executing the approach or teams have made adjustments and the Rangers haven't adjusted to that yet but whatever it is, they need to figure it out. If not, not only will the Astroa pass them up for the division they may get passed up for a WC as well.

He has had his moments, but overall, he has taken a step back offensively.
