It's possible, but a lot of that could have been pre-written for any of the teams he was considering.Wonder if Stein was "told" by Grantland.

Mark Titus, who I believe played with Oden at Ohio St, posted that story minute before his tweet. He obviously has known for awhile
league minimum means very little risk for Miami. good move. this is as cheap as it would get for miami.

even with the league minimum this guy might make it through half the season at best before he blows one or both of his wheels...
it is really sad. this guy was a freaking beast at OSU. when they lost to the gators in the title game, the gators had four NBA players on their starting 5.. including al horford and noah in the front court. this man dominated all of them and he was younger. i would love to have seen what he really could have been if not for injury.
