I think the Patriots would have simply ran out of time if the Falcons played it differently with clock management. That said, when you score 31 in the last 18 minutes plus OT... Give the Pats credit

I spent 3 hours thoroughly convinced that the Pats were toast.

Wow.

I thought it was over also... I just wanted to see the Patriots make it somewhat close, respectable ...

Exactly without question. Especially in shotgun 7 steps back? Are they fucked? Recipe for disaster. You can't do that with a lead clock running down.

True... Just run it, take the chance with the kick...

Comeback. A choke would be a comedy of errors. Like mistake after mistake where they just keep throwing up on themselves and handing NE points. That didn't happen. The Pats had to grind for everything they got. Atlanta just had some suspect playcalling and approach that is SO MUCH EASIER to call out in hindsight.

Correct me if I am wrong but the biggest comeback ever before tonight was 10 points (Giants-Pats) and the fact that the Pats was down 25 points and won? Seriously why ask this question?

That was the best 4th quarter I've ever watched. Brady is magical to watch.

cause on the internet, there are far more horse's asses than there are horses.

Great Win!
True. That catch by Edleman was the breaking point. We (Pats fans) have seen that go against us in years past but tonight it was in my mind the defining moment.

Whatever anybody does do not give the NE D any credit. They held the most potent offense to 21 points. Atlanta completed ONE 3rd down conversion agains that over rated D.

Nope when up by 8 with 3 minutes left at the 20 you make sure you give yourself a chance at the FG then game over. You don't blow it with a risky pass play 7 yards back in shotgun. No brainer they blew the game.. Well coaches did.

No matter how you slice it this was an improbable come from behind victory. At one point late in the 3rd ESPN had the Pats with a 0.4% chance of winning. I should'be put 1k on those odds.

my trash talking?
you spent 4 weeks talking outta your ass

5-3 beats the heck outta 0-2 no matter how hard you wanna spin

think left turns and be somebody

You know why I got to trash talk for 4 weeks? Because the Falcons are relevant and didn't exit the playoffs in the first round like the Cowboys.

And 5-3 really don't matter too much when it's been over 2 decades since your team even made a conference championship game.

19 teams have played in a Super Bowl since the last time the Cowboys made it past the divisional round.

So pretty much, live with those precious memories of yesteryear.

How long before some dumbass labels this SB win as next-gate? You know as in like what the F did those F-ing Pats do to win gate. Surely no more than 24 hours before we have to hear about X gate and many slobs are waiting for those sickening Pats to get caught with hand in cookie jar again. Just wait a few days and some unknown F-er is going to start whatever the F gate rumors, again. Book it.
