ATL's defense wore down after being on the field for so long since ATL shut it down on offense with the big lead. If they keep the foot on the gas they win this one. This is why I like Pete and Belicheat for this exact reason, they don't take their foot off the gas ever. Can't blame the refs in this one at all.

This is subjective. But when you're on the NE 30 and end up with a 3rd and 33, that's just a disgrace. Not even a FG attempt out of it. Quinn and Ryan have had some quizzical decisions (yes both) in the past, but this is going to be talked about forever. Got to be an all-time choke for me.

Patriots defense figured out how to stop Atlanta and implemented the plan in the second half.

The Patriots finally figured out the Falcons defense and score 19 points in the 4th quarter.

The Falcons had no answer in OT.

The Patriots D played just great in the 2nd half and the Falcon D got tired. It gave the Patriots another second or two to get open and make better throws.

I am excited about shanahan being our new HC but positive and negative from the Super Bowl. Great game plan in the 1st half. Bad adjustments in the 2nd half. He stopped running the ball and when in fg range he picked pass on 2 plays that cost them a FG to end game and a 3rd and 1 he didn't run the ball. Bad 2nd half. Overall I am still excited about him being HC and hope he learns from this.

Because they were in range and could have just ran and kicked the FG to win it has to be a choke. NE wouldn't have had enough time to come back with those points end of story. Coach should be fired for the pass call especially shotgun!!!

I'd be nervous. I'm praying Gase saw what happened here as he has gotten off the run on occasion as well. Can't do it when the games on the line you need to take the points and seal the deal...
