When Scott suggested he might rest Kobe, I said no way Kobe would agree to that, the way how he is. After realizing he is having his worst shooting year, Kobe agreed and sat out a week.

Since Kobe came back, he is averaging 17/9/8, shooting 47% and 53% from three.

Its early, but hope it continues.

Carry on...

This is something though that some of us has been saying for several years now and it's not really news with one twist. Instead of monitoring his minutes - DumbToni ran him into the ground.:L

Seriously though I've been saying for several years now that Kobe needed to shoot less and develop his three point shot more. When Kobe shoots more than 22-25 shots - the Lakers always have lost. 17 to 20 is right in there. It's time to share the wealth and let the other players develop a decent stroke

Not having Kobe is one thing but losing the one and only player on the Lakers who can be considered a 3 (even Xavier Henry was more of a 2) is not going to be very good for your team. Having Ronnie Price to play defense would have been nice too, Lillard torched Lin so bad that he could have been convicted of arson.
