Yeah if we had tanked we could have gotten a really good prospect QB like Justin Fields or someone.

Only teams that tank get guys like that though.

And we wouldn't of had to give up next year's 1st round pick too!

Pace…and thus McCaskeys. I’m sure of it. But there are plenty of apologists out there…
Ah, I had no idea you had an inside connection to that bunch. What a luxury to have you posting on our forum.

It's coming. It's going to be a doozy too. The old geezer has been waiting all offseason.

I don't see how Quinn is still on the roster. So far hes been payed 15m per sack (30m guaranteed) . Everytime I noticed him this preseason was when he was whiffing on a tackle. He'll be making 14m this season.

Rumor has it he caught Pace and Nagy after hours playing tickles in the locker room.

Wait a second...I just did some reading of rankings/projections etc...Minnesota is supposed to be low-key, dark horse good with some kind of awesome O-line at its disposal?!?

@PnkPanther Explain this and if it's true promise me you beat the Packers if/when we sh*t the bed.

I mean, we could beat GB in a game, we did so last year, but unless Rodgers gets hurt I see no scenario we're ahead of GB In the division

Cousins's is currently 2nd best QB in situation (I'd trade him for Fields in a heart beat, just going on current standards) and still miles behind GB

Our OL has been trash past few years, we have some promising young players, but I'll believe it when I see it

Defense should be better than last year, we're returning 2 starters that missed of all of 2020. My end of 2020 we were playing with back up front 7 at all 7 spots. They got pushed around by dallas and chicago and eaten up on underneath passed by Dalton and Mitchy

2nd place will be between MN/Chi

Ya know...Looking back for the rankings I read I can't find them...but I saw one that had Packers/Vikings at 6/7 and it was touting the greatness of the Vikings o-line. Wish I could find the link. Most put you guys in the mid to late teens which is kinda what I expected. So this stamps it...Sad day...I really hate that the Packers are going to roll...

I'm going to just try to enjoy it as the expectations are nil. The big things to watch for us from this season into the offseason are: Fields' progression, Nagy in/out after this season's end-assuming we get lambasted as expected...and what is going to happen with Arob...Latter at this point I would almost bet the house that he's gone in upcoming FA.

Vikes O line has been bad for few years, not sure how they'd be ranked high

Just found it...memory is bad though...Packers weren't at 6...but the "high pedigree offensive line" gave me the double take:

7. Minnesota Vikings*

Minnesota stumbled to a 7-9 season in 2020 after three consecutive winning seasons, but there are plenty of reasons to anticipate a bounceback in 2021. The Vikings have an intriguing, high-pedigree offensive line -- all five projected starters were picked on Day 1 or 2 of the draft since 2018 -- as well as overhauled and upgraded interior defensive line and cornerback units. The defense will also have standouts Barr and Hunter back after the duo missed all but a combined 91 snaps last season due to injury. As if that's not enough, stars Kendricks (who also missed time last season) and Smith are sure to make a big impact.

Mike Zimmer is known for elite defense and, following a rough 2020, he now has the team on paper to get back to that in 2021. Kirk Cousins remains a polarizing player, but he played well last season and led Minnesota to the fifth most offensive touchdowns. He has plenty of support in the form of Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson. Minnesota is on the rise.
