Its just so true. Anyone out there that tries to make an argument that the Cavs were better off with a season ending injury to Love is delusional. If the Cavs were healthy with Love, Irving and Varejao all ready to suit up they would, if not be the favorites, be at least even money in this series.

Better off?

No.

But, if they win the championship, it proves they don't need him.

With Andy coming back next year, a case could be made that Thompson is expendable.

But, Andy and Love are constantly gimp.

So, I'd roll with the guy who got me there.

Look, I openly trolled you about Thompson.

Yes, I still believe they picked the wrong one, they should have drafted Klay.

But, Tristan has turned himself into a pretty good player and he deserves a nice payday.

So, if they are only paying 1, I would pay Tristan.

Seriously, this is like Drew Bledsoe getting hurt and Brady never giving him his job back.

Rooting? lol.
I rooted for the team Lebron played for in high school, bc I went to games. I was never a Heat fan and never will be. Unlike this chick, she has two different fav teams. Not a true fan.

I will say I did like watching the Heat play. I like the way they played, no more
I saw Bron play in high school a couple times too. One was against Western Reserve Academy. One kid that lived in my parents development played for Western Reserve. LEBron was just dunking like a maniac until they just put everyon ein the middle- so he just rained 3s from outside...

You have to give LeBron so much freaking credit. In today's world- with all the freaking hype that was attached ot LeBron- when he was 16 years old he was on the cover of Sports illustrated....All the pressure in the world was on his shoulders

He not only proved that the hype was deserved- he OVER delivered. Its just insane to me. The guy just delivers.

Very cute, congrats!

Should be a fun series :)

Yeah, Kobina Smushelle is a cutie.

I think it will be a great series and the Cavs will take game 1.

* It should be noted that I have not picked a single game correctly this entire playoffs.

That takes skill!

haha....I read articles that the Cavs REALLY tried to get back up and take Klay with a 3rd first rounder- and that Klay was next on their board after Tristan.

In that top ten guys like Derrick Williams, Jan Vesley, Bismack Biyombo, Jimmer Fredette- were all drafted ahead of Klay.

When you look back on that draft iwas freaking stacked.....and it was a draft that had a very bad rep at the time as most people though Kyrie was the only guy who was likely to make multiple all star teams- and there were people who thought Williams was a more deserving #1 pick.

Think of that draft

1. Ky
2. Kawhi Leonard
3. Jimmy Butler
4. Klay
5. Tristan
6. Vucevic
7. Mirotic
8. Faried
9. Reggie Jackson
10. Valunciunas
11. Kemba
12. Kanter
13. Shumpert
14. Tobias harris
15/16 Morris Twins
17. Chandler Parsons

LOADED DRAFT------- Tristan really has proven that he belongs though. I mean- it takes big men a while to develop when they arent Shaq. Was Tristan a great pick at #4 when guys like Leonard, Butler, klay went after him? no- but a lot of people passed those 3 guys and took garbage like Jan Vesley or jimmer fredette.

Yesh...that was a pretty good draft.

Guys like Kanter, Tristan took big steps this year.

I think Tristan is the real deal.

Not sure I'm buying the hype on Kanter.

Don't get me wrong, he is perfect on OKC.

He's younger and less brittle than their original target, Brook Lopez.

Plus, he will come on a cheaper deal.

But....is he a product of that guns blazing system?

Would he put up the same numbers in Denver or Minny?

Vuvecic, Butler, Kemba, Kyrie, Klay, Leonard and Kyrie are all beasts.

I'm a big Chandler, Manimal fan too.

This should be a lot of fun. To me all the pressure is on the Warriors- practically everyone has them winning. The Cavs are missing huge parts of their roster. No one gives Blatt any credit what s ever.....the Cavs are playing with house money at this point. With all the adversity and challenges they have faced its a wonder they have gotten where they have gotten considering this is LeBron's first year back and they have a rookie coach- and the Big 3 has been reduced to the big one and a half since the 1st game of the 2nd round.

The Warriors are the favorite for good reason- they are healthy, have home court, and even though I think Blatt has done some nice things lately I gotta say I would pick Kerr over him fairly easily.

I will tell ya- that its been excruciating waiting a week for this game- but the whole week has had an electric feeling here in Cleveland. The City is so happy to have a good team again- and the City has really embraced this team considering the adversity and the rising of the bench players that hte national media and fans that are not from Cleveland bad mouthed .

Who would have thought at this time last year the crowd would be chanting DELLY! in the Conference Finals---- the city loves the way Delly plays with fearless aggression and effort- and absolutely LOVES seeing this more highly regarded players being reduced to a bunch of cry babies.

no matter what happens- lets hope its a fun series to watch.....Its just so great LeBron is back and we are going to be having such a great time every May and June for the foreseeable future!

And- i have to say- facing a classy and likeable opponent like Golden State is cool.

Mecca- never really talked to you about your Clips....felt so bad for them...that team is so damn talented but they just cant seem to not trip over their own dick when it matters most. Bring that team back again with a little bit more help and theres no reason they shouldnt be right back in it next year and continue to rule the Staples Center. CP is such a warrior. He played that game 7 against hte Spurs on one leg practically. One of the gutsiest performances I have ever seen.

Curry is the new Golden Boy.

Anthony Davis...got next.

But, Bron is still currently the best player.

So, If you got him...you got a chance!

Good luck to both Teams...lets hope everyone makes it thru healthy.

Thanks, Russ.

You know you are part of a dysfunctional fanbase when you get over shit like that overnight.

Seriously, I was completely over it when I woke up the next morning.

I don't even know what the answer is...hell, I don't even remeber the question.

They say Paul Pierce is coming in the OffSeason.

It might have mattered a year or two ago.

Now?

Meh...

Pierce sure seemed to make a difference on the Wizards- and really- Barnes and Pierce sharing Small Forward seems like a good thing to me- i thought SF was hte one position where you guys were a little lacking. I can buy into Pierce and Barnes combining to make a damn good SF position

So Tristan gets all the time he wants to develop ( plus benefits from having James), but Whiteside is a finished, 26 year old player ( whose never played a full season)?

Once again you're talking out of both sides of your ass.

How do you think Whiteside would look if he is the Cavs center with James?

You'd be creaming your jeans and hitting us with multiple 2000 word posts telling us of his greatness.
