Wiggy predicting the Cavs winning 70 is classic. But like bk and Turnup have pointed out, who cares? I've never seen one Heat, Lakers, or Spurs fan get high on regular season wins. They just wanted the ship, didn't matter how it came whether it was as a 66 win 1 seed, or a mid-seed. Just win the god damn thing.
Nobody pays attention to the Vegas odds the day after the championship. Vegas didn't predict Golden St. winning the title this year, so that tells you something. There's a lot of variables that come into play.
1. Golden St. is just barely in their prime. They're only going to get better, especially now that they have that championship experience that so many people lose their minds over.
2. Where's Lamarcus Aldridge going? If he goes to the Spurs, then my god.
3. It'd be nice to see Miami stay healthy and for all players to stay intact. If that happens, they'll challenge the Cavs (although if Cleveland keeps their roster while switching out the role players, I'd likely give Cleveland the edge in that matchup).
4. Is Love staying? Also, what happens if some team offers TT the max? He's a RFA, so it's certainly possible. How would Cleveland feel paying two PFs the max?
5. Lebron's been to 5 NBA finals. That's a significant feat and accomplishment. But at some point these minutes are going to take there toll.
Back to the Wiggy thing, that guy was all about his 66 wins and this being the best damn team ever. Just funny.
