She didn't look drunk and she seemed to be speaking clearly. She was just trash, it would seem.

I said something completely and entirely unrelated to Cavs fans but your immediate first response is to come after me about a letter our owner wrote 5 years ago. Sounds to me like only one of us is blinded by our opinions.

He is OBSESSED with Lebron. Everyone knows this.

"Did Gilbert physically tell people to yell profanities at him? Prob not"

This pretty much tells me you aren't going to even be remotely objective in this conversation.

I didn't like the letter when he wrote it, and clearly it was a heat of the moment thing. Trying to compare that to some random fan of a team with no ties to Lebron yelling profanities makes no sense, whatsoever.

However, regardless of your opinion on it, it doesn't change the fact that the chick in GS was trash, plain and simple.

Yes, because after all, a team owner taking the time to write a long, hate filled letter and post it on line is obviously far more "heat of the moment" than some fan yelling something at a player mere minutes after a heated, close game.

Cavs fans are hilarious.

Very much so. To be honest, I think this is more of a must-win for Cleveland than GS. I do not want to go back to Oakland in game 5 tied at 2 apiece.

Absolutely. A must win, the longer they spread this series out--advantage GS. I know Lebron has been spectacular, but if there is a game where he goes into TAKEOVER mode (like Boston Game 6 where he making everything) this is the game. Other guys need to continue to step up when they are open. Defense is the key still though.

Really this whole series is about controlling pace, GS plays the up-tempo, fastbreak ball. They were held to 4 fastreak points in Game 3 I believe. They wont win with a slow pace and halfcourt set, I really dont know how they change that if Lebron is in that mindset. I guess force turnovers or get off to a good lead to force Cleveland to change their pace a bit.

GSW can speed up the pace of the game by picking Lebron up full court or at least 3/4 court. He's controlling the pace of the game, allowing himself and his teammates to get a few seconds rest and surveying GSW's defense by walking the ball up the court.

If they pick him up earlier, they can make him choose between wearing himself out by maintaining control of the ball or save energy by putting the ball in the hands of his teammates. Either one is good for GSW.

Interesting stat they just shared on Dan Patrick:

In this series, 63% of Lebron's shot attempts have come after he has possessed the ball for 6 seconds or more. In the regular season, that number was 37%. The Cavs are winning because GSW is allowing Lebron to dictate the pace of the game.

The King claims that individual accolades are the furthest thing from his mind. His main focus is being "the MVP for these guys, 14 guys in this locker room," per Joe Vardon of the Northeast Ohio Media Group.

Here's one, but I'm not going to spend the day googling.

I do think he cares (who wouldn't)?
But I just remember many conversations with him saying championship is the most important thing.

If he was just about individual stats, why leave the Cavs in the first place.

You may be reading too much into these "sound bites." Saying that at a certain time something is the furthest thing from his mind is not the same thing as saying he does not care at all about it.

Obviously he cares about championships. I'm sure he cares about individual awards too. I'd guess, however, that given his choice of an MVP or a championship, he'd take the championship.

This seems to me like you're nit-picking.

I'm not defending Gilbert - I hardly know anything about him. However, if the size of my bank account was intrinsically linked to Lebron James, I might be obsessed with him too.

Yeah, I believe that is a way, I just dont think they are going to do it. The way I see it if they havent done it all year after winning 67 games then why change it now, but I agree something needs to change.

Hmm...didnt know that

So double him? I know he will find the open man, but they need to change something.

I pretty much agree with everything you just wrote.
The elite in anything all have egos. That's part of how they became elite.
Of course you want the most MVP's. The most anything.
Hell, look at the all star game.
When it gets down to the last few minutes, that's all that's on the minds of the few who think they can win it.

I did read that letter from Gilbert because it was a pretty big deal around here when james left. I'll say this, I'm not really even a Cavs fan, but that letter was embarrassing for Cleveland.

Did someone here say it was kept up online until last year?

I actually loved the letter.

I love anyone in sports that does not adhere to the status quo- cliche - trite quote.

LeBron is actually the king of those and it annoys me at times- his quotes are canned basically a lot of the time- its why it was interesting he actually said something about the "secret" motivation because he usually gives the media nothing but the obvious cliches

I love that Gilbert was fired up and didnt run everything he does passed legal before it goes down. I wish morep eople in sports acted like that- even if in the end it was ill-advised

I get that argument, but if you are the billionaire, why EVER become anyone's bitch?

Me personally, I'm going to try to accomplish what I originally said in that letter.
Find a way to beat him, not suck his balls and give him my team.

Also, did Gilbert really suck James' balls?!

Again, the topic of conversation was a GS fan. Dan Gilbert literally had nothing to do with any of it. Why are you and turnup getting your jimmies rustled so much?

If you are the owner of Cleveland it all comes down to, you want to win a championship for Cleveland. Who is going to give you the best chance, most likely the ONLY chance? Lebron.
He put himself in a corner and now he is stuck in it with Bron Bron's balls dangling in his face.
