didn't the owner also write that poisonous letter after BronBron took off to the Heat? not saying Turnup's right or wrong, but you think that'd be beyond him...?

Go ahead and read the letter. It was about Cleveland thriving in his absence. Obviously that didn't happen, but never once did he do anything close to encouraging fans to yell profanities at him. Only trash acts this way, regardless of fanbase.

I just watched the Wade/James interview from last night and James told Wade that his 06 performance was better than his so far this series.
Yup I stated that a couple pages before. it was a good interview. He also mentions that he hates that he finished 3rd in the MVP voting and he still doesn't understand how he lost the MVP.

and needless to say their margin for error is just about gone up in smoke. tonight's game is the very definition of "must win"...
I agree 100%, Lets see if they are ready to fight for this win. They need to start out fast. They have let Cavs jump out in every game.

PLEASE STOP
This is about thriving??

You mean the letter that Gilbert mysteriously took down July 7 (although neither he or James knew he was returning)?

The letter that included these?:

"As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier."

"This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment."

"You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal."

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE"

"Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there."

"This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become."

"The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch."

Now back to the Heats first visit there.
Did Gilbert physically tell people to yell profanities at him? Prob not.

He did however promote/condone the environment to be as hostile as possible.
He didn't think the beer drinking, trailer trash would be yelling profanities?

He even did one of those giveaways (I believe it was a towel) with something James derogatory on it.
I have one (my brother sent me).

That = TRASH in my book.

I expect GS to make adjustments, especially some ones they made late in Game 3. I expect Blatt to maybe change the lineups up a bit, in case Lee comes in, so they can actually be prepared this time. Although, they isnt many adjustments Blatt can really makes with limited lineups, players, etc. Perkins is pretty much worthless unless you need extra fouls. Marion could be used a bit if he even healthy. We will see what adjustments are made, should be interesting.

Heat players, executives at the game said they had never seen/experienced anything close to it, ever.

As it went down though, typically, the Heat beat the living shit out of them.....just as we all knew they would.

This pretty much tells me you aren't going to even be remotely objective in this conversation.

I didn't like the letter when he wrote it, and clearly it was a heat of the moment thing. Trying to compare that to some random fan of a team with no ties to Lebron yelling profanities makes no sense, whatsoever.

However, regardless of your opinion on it, it doesn't change the fact that the chick in GS was trash, plain and simple.

Really this whole series is about controlling pace, GS plays the up-tempo, fastbreak ball. They were held to 4 fastreak points in Game 3 I believe. They wont win with a slow pace and halfcourt set, I really dont know how they change that if Lebron is in that mindset. I guess force turnovers or get off to a good lead to force Cleveland to change their pace a bit.

I definitely expect GS to come out firing. They can't keep digging these double digit deficit holes and expect to win this series. I wouldn't be shocked if Curry/Thompson attempted 8-9 three pointers in the first quarter to get the momentum going. If they're hitting, Cleveland is in trouble. However, if we keep playing solid perimeter defense, we can handle it.

She was prob drunk (which is NO excuse), and I'm not saying that YOU would act or have acted that way.
However, your owner/fan base did.
If you don't see that, then I'll just have to add you to the blinded, homer list.

Yes if GS can get into a lead I think that will make Cavs rush shots. I agree only way I see GS winning is controlling the game. They haven't been able to do that.

Even though, he numerously times has said he doesn't care about individual awards.

MUST WIN? Nope. Rockets were down 3-1. You just need 1 road win at some point.
Would it be very important. Yes.
But I say equally important for BOTH teams.

She didn't look drunk and she seemed to be speaking clearly. She was just trash, it would seem.

I said something completely and entirely unrelated to Cavs fans but your immediate first response is to come after me about a letter our owner wrote 5 years ago. Sounds to me like only one of us is blinded by our opinions.

Very much so. To be honest, I think this is more of a must-win for Cleveland than GS. I do not want to go back to Oakland in game 5 tied at 2 apiece.

Is that true? Can you reference any examples?

The King claims that individual accolades are the furthest thing from his mind. His main focus is being "the MVP for these guys, 14 guys in this locker room," per Joe Vardon of the Northeast Ohio Media Group.

Here's one, but I'm not going to spend the day googling.

I do think he cares (who wouldn't)?
But I just remember many conversations with him saying championship is the most important thing.

If he was just about individual stats, why leave the Cavs in the first place.

You called a Warriors fan trash for yelling at James.
I didn't disagree.

Why are offended by me reminding you that 20,000 Cavs fans did the same or near the same thing?
