please explain to me how it was a dirty play.

and first of all- if you think the Horford thing was a "dirty play" then I just dont know what to say- Horford was pulling him down

and like i said- have you guys even watched the Korver play? Delly dives and covers up the ball so Korver cant grab it get a jump ball. To be a dirty play there has to be some kind of intent- and if you gleam intent from that then i just dont even know what to say. Maybe Korver needs to put in a little effort next time and get on the floor himself. Standing around when guys are diving for the ball is the surest way to get yourself hurt.

He's the only player in the league who when diving for loose balls throw his entire body into the knee/ankle area of another player....I have no time to waste arguing with a retard like you.

LOL...you know when people resort to insults they have lost. Nevermind the fact that you refuse to acknowledge what ACTUALLY happened with the play- dont even address it all. I mean, its so simple its ridiculous. Delly dove for the ball, and covered it up so Korver couldnt tie him up for a jump ball. Its not rocket science here people. Its all on video.

Barkley on TNT:

"If you back and look at those plays, those things just happen, its unfortunate Kyle Korver got hurt, in that situation Al Horford has him (Delly) locked, so it was an unfortuante play, i think he was a little frustrated the kid plays hard, he doesnt have the talent some of these other guys so he is goign to be a pest, he is going to nag you....Al Horford had him, the thing with Kyle Korver was just a fluke"

I feel pretty good that Barkley and Shaq share my view. BUT

its all in the past now.

we have another full week to wait....that sucks so bad...the only thing that makes it tolerable is that maybe the Cavs at least get Irving back to close to healthy...they wont get back Love or Varejao we know that...and golden state has their full roster...but just maybe Irving comes back and can actually get to the rim for the first time since Game 1 of the Bulls series.

Cavs in 6.

Maybe I'm a hater since I'm a Clips fan. But I just can't see anybody stopping LeBron in this series. Kerr will need to throw a mixture of Green/Thompson/Iggy his way and keep those boys fresh. Because LeBron is going to get his. LeBron just will need some additional help to squeeze out W's in this series from guys like JR, TT, and Kyrie who will need to step up in the scoring department. Lebron and +1 should be enough. It has the making of a great series, nonetheless.

Looking at Golden State's post season stats a little bit and a few things jump out

1. Bogut is averaging 5 points per game. The Cavs need to continue to defend the 3pt shot well- and make Golden State beat you inside and put the ball on the floor. Bogut scares no one offensively. The Warriors have no kind of post scoring. I would TRY and make Golden State go to Bogut until he proves he can make an impact offensively.

2. Make Klay Thompson put the ball on the floor. Guy is an UNBELIEVABLE shooter. I acknowledge he is still pretty darn good putting the ball on the floor- but force him towards the middle into Mozgov and or Thompson- he wont hurt you there NEARLY as much as he would hurt you outside.

3. Harrison Barnes is playing well. i am interested in seeing him against LeBron defensively. Golden State just has so many guys to throw at LeBron- Barnes, Green, Iggy, - maybe even Thompson at times. I dont know if the combo of those guys can play as well as Butler did against LeBron- but it will be close.

4. It is going to be really hard to hide Irving defensively in this series. Against Atlanta and Chicago they could hide him a little. Who do you hide him with against Golden State? I guess the only real option is Thompson and that could get messy. Like I said- as long as Kyrie is healthy enough not to let him go bombs away on the outside, and makes him put it on the floor- hopefully that will be enough to mitigate the mismatch.

5. Klay and Curry are at 44% and 43% from 3 in the playoffs. WOW....the rest of the Warriors though really have shot kinda poor from three. If the Cavs are going to have a chance int his series they need to hold Golden State to a reasonable 3 pt %...and maybe even out shoot them from behind the line.

6. 9 guys have played in every single playoff game for the Warriors. Barbosa, Ezeli, Livingston, Iggy are the 4 bench players that have played in every game. Lee has played here and there- he really played well against the Cavs last time they played- and the Warriors are going to need a little more size so I would think Lee gets some more minutes than he has played thus far.

7. The Warriors like to go small. With LeBron James versatility- and the versatility of Shumpert, and Thompson I think the Cavs are one of the few teams that can go adapt and be effective playing small right back at them.

8. Draymond Green is averaging almost 11 boards a game in the post season. Him and Thompson will probably be matched up against each other quite a bit. THAT IS GOING TO BE A BATTLE. Green is only shooting 43% and 26.4% from 3....hopefully Thompson can keep him at those levels...

9. This isnt really a stat- just an anecdote- but I have vivid memories of LeBron just destorying Iguadala over the years. LeBron ripped him when they played earlier this year for 42 points on 15 of 25. Green played Love and held him to a quiet night. I hope Kerr keeps Iggy on LeBron. Harrison Barnes is a soft player mentally. Green is the guy that worries me as a LeBron stopper. i want to see that matchup and see if LeBron is too quick for him, or if Green's young legs can stay in front of LeBron. The key to the series just might come down to LeBron v. Green and Curry v. Shumpert.

Listen to former NBA players. It is quite obvious how this was dirty.

There is a correct way to dive and there is an incorrect way. He's the only player in NBA who dives for loose balls that way. Every other player in the league could dive for the ball without bending a player's knee/ankle but somehow this is a problem for Matthew

Thanks for your opinion. But hustle is hustle. It's called outworking the other players, things happen and you cant control the outcome.

When you get caught up in the game and hustling, do you really think about "Should I dive or not?" It just happens. If this was a Heat player you would applaud him for hustle.

And basically all the TNT guys said he was hustling. I value their opinions over Cavs haters or NBA fans lol

Diving is not the issue. Issue is throwing your entire body into the player's lower body when diving. The Sixers coach explained it perfectly. It has to do with the way Delly was brought up in his country. He just has to adjust.

Blogtable: Your view on Matthew Dellavedova? NBA.com | Hang Time Blog with Sekou Smith

Steve Aschburner, NBA.com: I’ll take C. Dellavedova doesn’t go out intending to hurt opponents, but he does play recklessly in a way that can jeopardize other players’ well-being. His leg clamp on Taj Gibson‘s leg in the East semifinals showed Dellavedova is no innocent – he knows how to be sneaky and get under foes’ skin – and his repeated involvement in incidents and mishaps is no coincidence.

Fran Blinebury, NBA.com: Somewhere in between, though I would come down more on the dirty play side who is hiding behind LeBron’s skirt.

Shaun Powell, NBA.com: I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and call him scrappy, but his grace period is over with one more questionable collision with a player. I wonder: LeBron was so vociferous in his defense of Delly, but suppose it was LeBron and not Al Horford who got hit? Or LeBron and not Kyle Korver? Or LeBron and not Taj Gibson? What would LeBron say then?

It goes both ways, I can find guys that thought it was outhustling the other player. It isnt most players that think it was dirty, more like 50-50 lol

You may be right, but if Korver actually hustles he doesnt get hurt. He is just standing there looking at him. If he is even making an attempt this never happens.

ha Look it up there bud
Look what up, I was just pointing out that LBJ turns the ball over a lot to. Maybe not as much as Harden but Harden scores more. This year Harden was by far better then LBJ reason why he was #2 in the MVP race and he had less help then Curry and LBJ.

Doesnt matter if you cant step up in crunchtime. With a healthy Howard, Harden had more of a supporting cast in the playoffs hands down. No Kyrie and Love lol

LOL he did step up, he had one of the best post season in along time. I haven't seen some one dominate like that since LBJ 2nd year in Miami.

Step Up LOL u are funny man. U really want to sleep with LBJ. I never saw someone stick up for someone even when no one is bashing him.

Just telling the facts. 14 points - 13 turnovers when the Warriors were giving them all the chances in the world with poor play, fouls, and Klay going out. He choked in that last game, no way around it.

 @shane and Wiggy.

The Cavs are the greatest basketball team in the history of the world and no team has answers for anything they do. But it's not championship or bust for them. - shane and wiggy

lol I think you have the opposite, that's Warrior fans about their team. We are just arguing that the Cavs do have a chance. No one is giving them a chance.

Why would it be ship or bust? They arent even favored, makes no sense. The Warriors have been the team all year, besides preseason hype.
