I saw Mauer & Nishi down here in Ft. Myers, a few days ago on "Thirsty Thursdays" and beers were 2 for 1, the parking was $3, and you can use any ticket from any home game to get in, even if the ticket is from a game already played. Maybe I don't have it so bad after all!

Hey, jrs! How 'bout them Twins! What a great team comeback they are staging still w/o Mauer, Nishi, and, as far as I know Kubel (didn't see the game today.) Yeah, that "resident expert over on Fox had Gardy and Cuddy pegged right: ...they s_ck! Yeah, right!!

Although I am not totally enthralled with Gardy because of the 2009 & 2010 playoff collapses, I give him all my respect for not panicing and somehow holding this 2011 team together as they re-tooled with what they had left on the bench and in the farm system. These guys have played like a "team" when other teams would have collapsed and sunk to an "every man for himself" attitude. I credit to Gardy for keeping them together.

Do I seriously think they are gonna win the division? Probably not, but they might make a memorable " run for the roses" and shoot past a lot of rivals and be the best team on the field in the final weeks. Anything can happen when you believe in yourself. GO TWINS!
