Well Pead isn't around anymore. Maybe its Marquez's turn.

I totally agree. There is no doubt in my mind they should have kept Givens but somebody in the FO or the coaching staff gets something stuck in their heads and they refuse to see the bigger picture. Givens is going to be used mightily by Harbaugh and I know his career is going to improve.
Rams got rid of Jerome Bettis too.
I'm going to disagree with the masses here. The vast majority of players the Rams have gotten rid of recently (the past 2 regimes) haven't done much of anything. Most flamed out really quickly.Yep Chilipepper and he ended up getting a superbowl ring with the Steelers. There are quite a few players who have gone on to get rings with other clubs which is evidence to suggest that the corporate climate, the FO, and the coaching with the Rams are crap. The players have talent; they are not being coached correctly or motivated to win.

Givens fits Flacco well so maybe he does better on the Ravens but basically Givens hasn't added anything to the Rams in the past couple of years and is another draft pick bust.
Yeah, one catch for seven yards this year...sure looks like an emerging receiver me. LOL, he hasn't done jack squat since his rookie year, but some of you are making him out to be Henry Ellard.
Look at how vehement people are against the trade. He's #5 on the depth chart, he was not going to be resigned, so we might as well get something for him. And I agree regarding Pead, he shouldn't have been returning kicks. But this idea that Givens was just starting to blossom is horse hockey. He hasn't accomplished anything the last two seasons, he's not a good route runner and he's a one trick pony(and he hasn't shown that ability since his rookie year).
I agree Chilipepper. Just watch. His career will now take-off like so many other ex-Rams that have left to have their careers flourish and some even obtain superbowl rings with other clubs such as Madison Hedgecock with the Giants and Mike Hoomanawaunui and Danny Amendola with the Patriots just last year. Amendola, BTW is have a great year this year as being one of Tom Brady's go-to guys. The Rams are fast becoming the laughingstock of the league again with insanity like this trade.
Rams got rid of Jerome Bettis too.
Ugh, bad memories of that day.
Not as bad for me as when we got rid of Dickerson, I'll NEVER forget that weekend...
