Is that verified? I'm not seeing that anywhere but it might simply be because the Gilmore news is a bigger deal.

What are the details of the Gilmore trade?Jamie Collins Officially Signs With Patriots After Stephon Gilmore Trade
Jamie Collins officially is back with the Patriots after New England traded Stephon Gilmore to the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday afternoon.nesn.com
Bill needed a couple million to sign Collins and got rid a $7M Weight around his neck.
I wonder if Carolina picked up the cap hit? Right now it would be $7M salary and $5M from the bonus last year. So they would eat $12M and the Pats would get back the whole $12M of the original $16M cap hit.
This will allow BB to go Thanksgiving shopping early for an October Black Friday OL.
They say things always happen in 3's
1. Gilmore gone
2. Collins resigned
3. Harry traded for an OL????
3. Harry traded for an OL????
Correct because it's prorated for the 6 weeks spent on PUPI read the Pats are getting 5.7 million back.
2023 Sixth rounderWhat are the details of the Gilmore trade?
Patriots gain $5.8 million cap space and 2023 draft pick. What are the details of the Gilmore trade?
I hope there's a net under that limb...I'm going out on a limb and saying not only does Harry not get traded but he quickly becomes Mac's favorite receiver.
Not sure I'd want an Olineman that was of equal value to Harry. We have enough duds. Maybe if he's part of a package deal?I'm going out on a limb and saying not only does Harry not get traded but he quickly becomes Mac's favorite receiver.
Do we know what round the pick is?Patriots gain $5.8 million cap space and 2023 draft pick.
Panthers get Gilmore rental for rest of season with Gilmore expected to become free agent.
6thDo we know what round the pick is?
6th, they might as well have traded for a 2023 UDFDo we know what round the pick is?
More importantly than the 6th rounder, he'll now factor into the comp pic scenario. So one would think at least a 4th. Unless he can't go on that bum quad?Do we know what round the pick is?
But now he becomes part of the comp pic scenario. If he was just released they would've gotten squat.6th, they might as well have traded for a 2023 UDF
Unfortunately, he'll become a free agent (as expected by Carolina)More importantly than the 6th rounder, he'll now factor into the comp pic scenario. So one would think at least a 4th. Unless he can't go on that bum quad?
If I'm not mistaken the comp criteria should be based off of his performance from this year? The entire comp pick smoke and mirrors is a mess anyway.Unfortunately, he'll become a free agent (as expected by Carolina)
