Niemi has played a decent game but the thing I CANNOT tolerate is how far back in the net he plays. It seems to me that the 38 shots off the pipe (that we have to keep chasing down) and the goal that went in are results of poor positioning. I am not a goalie - but it seems if he played out a little more and paid a little more attention to those angles we would have sore backs.

Sharks need to start hitting in the O-zone a LOT more. The kings dont play as well when skidding on their backs.

And fucking please... NO PREVENT D!

he does play deep and thats why hes been beaten 4 times from the point this series on shots that were easily stoppable.

I have to take back all of the negative things I've said about Burish. The 4th line has been awesome, the Bracken and Desi have really fed off of Burish's energy. They've done a great job cycling the puck, keeping it in the offensive zone and quickly killing the Kings momentum.

That was a textbook way to play with one-goal lead in the 3rd period.SJ's 3rd period was the way you should always play with that lead - keep trying to score and keep clogging up and neutral zone to make it hard on their forwards. Best Sharks game of this series so far. Burish was a big difference tonite.
