Yaz has actually been a very reasonable 3rd OF level producer his entire career with a fluke .968 OPS 164 OPS+ in the bubble year 2020

Happy to keep him around as legit 3rd/4th OF and a decent lefty bat and very good glove

I've been thinking about Yaz and I really hope that the Giants keep him around. He has really slow starts to the season and have bad dry spells. I, like many others, have sometimes gotten frustrated with him and wanted to see the Giants move on. Glad that they have not. He's good, for this era of MLB.

And through all that, they still got humiliated by Colorado and the dogs on the road. Let’s not get cocky about some nice wins at home against the worst team in the bigs.

I personally doubt this is the case. He is a pretty big wild card atm, and I can’t imagine the Giants trading him right now. But the timing requires that this possibility is at least considered.
