The only silver lining here is that you know Vancouver isn't going to get the benefit of the calls against either Tampa or Boston and I don't think they're going to even have a chance against them honestly. Fuck the Canucks. I came into this series pretty much indifferent to them, but after the diving, head snapping, cheap shots by Torres/Lapierre, and Elaine's whining about the refs, this team can suck my dick.

Nearly impossible now. No Thornton too. Maybe a shoulder injury. Season over. 20 years no cup. I'll be 50 before next season ends and that will be nearly 30 years of my life with no cup from either the Sharks or Golden Seals. I don't have too many more years to wait. Just want one.

I feel your pain even though I've only been watching for 14 years. Its a fucking travesty. Even worse, I started watching the Niners after their glory years (starting in 1998) so I have never even seen a championship and probably won't between my two favorite teams in the next 10 years or so.

I grew up in SF so followed the Sharks during the year of their inception into the league back in their Cow Palace days as a youth. I get pessimistic about this team but the Sharks of yesterday had more heart despite not having as much talent as this current cadre of Sharks players. I don't understand why this team has dry spells only to turn it on late. This is despicable and inappropriate for a professional franchise of any sort.

Sharks in trouble, Lakers out, Arsenal out, 49ers rebuilding, baseball is too long of a season to predict anything yet = damn. I just hope Barcelona beats Man Utd on Saturday. Man this freaking sucks.
