Bochy is killing me with the bullpen this year. He had it in his head that his lefties can all get righties out just as well as lefties (even though Runzler and even Lopez's stats both scream LOOGY) and that Ramirez and especially Romo can't get lefties out to save their lives. So any inning where there's even one lefty due up he goes with the lefty. Look at this inning. It's unfuckingbelievable. Sanchez - Dobbs - Stanton due up with a rested bullpen and you leave in Runzler to work his 2nd inning? Runzler who righties are hitting like .350+ against this year? It's fucking batshit.

4-0 in the 7th. Giants have <5% chance of winning this game at that point. Low leverage situation. Save your bullets.

Yeah, but as soon as he hits some (like a monster homer), Bochy sits him for a few days. Hard to get consistency at the plate with sporadic starts.

I think most teams, in most parks, would have very little chance of winning a game down four runs in the 7th. Consider that league average scoring in a 9 inning game is a shade over four runs.

Bochy is a really smart baseball guy. Why would he have any confidence in this offense, especially tonight? Does anyone?
