Yes and no on Marc Savard. Was he in the lineup? No. Was he missed? For sure. Could the Bruins have added those important pieces without Savard's LTIR cap relief? No.
Known LTIR and using cap relief is much different than having a team decimated by injuries just before, or, during the playoffs.
