I wasn't blaming Miller. Sorry, I assumed everyone else was listening. Selig was in the booth and Miller was doing an interview with him.

In general, I like Miller, but I am not sure he is as good as his rep says he is. Kruk and Kuip and head and shoulders above both Miller and Flemming. 9If we did not have Kruk and Kuip, though, I would still believe that we had one of the best broadcast teams in the bigs, though)

Yeah, I much prefer Kuip. Best home run call in the game ("Hits it high... hits it deep...it...is...OUTTA HERE!!!"). I hate Miller's ("Adios pelota!" (barf)). Maybe it comes down to that for me.

I agree. I don't dislike Miller, and I get that he's a HOF broadcaster, but of our four, he ranks last. When it's all said and done, Fleming may end up being the best of the bunch.

We've all complained that we're not aggressive enough on the basepaths. Now we see why (Crawford, now Posey).

Flemming will go national, I think. He isn't a homer and he has the golden pipes.

Kruik and Kuip will go down as one of, if not the, best team in the history of the game.

A 3 PQS for Peavy, but it felt stronger than that.

The Giants are almost to the point of no matter who they throw out there they're gonna hit.

I would love to see Duff getting more PT. His numbers are not good so far, but he LOOKS good doing it (or not doing it, as the case may be).

I will be watching his winter league numbers closely this off-season. I really hope they open the SS job to a full competition between EA, Craw and Duff (with the winner coming from EA or Craw and Duff starting for Fresno/Sacto/Where-ever our AAA team is next year)

I am a bit concerned, actually (seriously).

We are playing the worms now, but they are hardly even a AAA team right now. I hope we don't go into the weekend with a cocky attitude against a real team.

I don't think they will. Listening to the post game interviews they all seem to be taking it one game at a time. The vets know that you can fall just as fast and are keeping the rookies grounded.

I hope you are right (you probably are).

There are a LOT of rings in the clubhouse, so you would expect they know what this time of year is like. However, this series is troubling in that the worms just aren't making ANY of the plays. They have constantly been giving the Giants extra outs, extra runs, extra pitches, etc, etc, etc. The Giants have not had to play full-speed all week.

The doggies faced this and went against San Diego and looked rather flat (albeit, still taking 2 of the series). If we do that, facing the doggies, that could be trouble.
