Disappointed in Sabean right now. He let the team go south again with no help two years in a row and now Belt is out again. I just don't understand why they did'nt go for it. Today is for Champions .

Pence was doing it, but he was doing it alone, so we still weren't getting any wins to go with it.

In '10, the team was scrappy. The 6, 7 and 8 hitters would put rally's together enough to take a win every once in a while. Now our 3, 4 and 5 hitters put rally's together enough to take a win every once in a while.

In his last four starts (including today), Lincecum has pitched 14.2 innings, giving up 24 hits and 18 earned runs (so far, he is not really through the 1st yet). That's an 11.04 ERA, folks.

BoB, seriously?

This team has been bad since June. Sabean wasn't going to give up top specs in an already weak farm system if the team wasn't playing well enough to earn help. Sabean recognized this team wasn't good enough to "go for it", so he saved his assets and stood pat.

They didn't "go for it" because we don't have the pieces to do that. There is no reason to give up future pieces for this delusional "today is for champions" idea of yours.

This team wasn't good enough. Pagan missed too much time, we have a hole at 2B, SS (Crawford doesn't bring it consistently enough), LF and the back end of the rotation has questions. One move wasn't going to fix that

Blanco = worthless as a hitter no matter where he is in the lineup. He is not a fly ball hitter, and yet he continues to try and hit home runs.
