I hope this road trip turns into a rallying point for the team and spurs them onto a great playoff run. Too many times we have coasted into the playoffs with no real adversity. Last year UConn was under .500 in the Big East near the end of the year, the Giants (bad Giants) were 6-7 or something like that, The Cardinals were 9 games out in September.... why not the San Jose Sharks?!?

No guarantee of a playoff spot. It may be a good thing for them to experience sitting in the 7th or 8th spot for awhile. Maybe shake off some of that fucking complacency of them thinking that they have automatic playoff reservations.
