I have never seen the Giants play this badly. And I saw plenty of games at the Stick in the 1970's, when "sukkitude" was very in vogue.

True. People forget how bad the 85 Giants were. Our only two good hitters were Chris Brown and Chili Davis. Krukow was the best pitcher and he was only average. Scotty Garrelts was the only good reliever. That's four good players out of 25.

Little surprise we lost 100. This team at WORST could lose 80.

You are right, as per usual. But there were no expectations on those teams except sukkitude. So we weren't surprised by horrible losses, as they were "normal". We certainly didn't like them. And of course, there were no interwebs to kvetch about, so most of the negativity was kept to ourselves, and our friends who played Stratomatic.
