I just don’t think our manager is very good. I was wrong about him. Why in the world, would you put Doval in knowing how poorly he has been pitching? I know we are stuck with him because of Chapman but his decisions throughout the year are questionable at the least.

I really am okay with demoting him again. Bring up Warren. Bring up Burgos. Bring up Ingram. Just shut Doval down for the season.

Agree with this. Reducing the expanded rosters means he should be sent down to make room for someone else. It was easier when rosters expanded to 40 in September to kind of hide a guy like Doval and use him in low leverage situations while checking out other pitchers. Not so anymore. Now, teams have to send these guys down to evaluate others. Might as well bring Burgos or Ingram for one more look.

As for his HR today, I watched it probably 5 times, and I couldn’t tell. The jets went off just as the ball was in that area and I lost track of the ball.
