Another game ball consideration is Harbaugh....I think staying in Youngstown helped as well...I wonder what that week cost the Yorks?

That cost has now been turned into a well worth-it investment.

CBS just showed a clip from Vick after the game....not complaining about late hits this week....I'd love to see all their comments and video.

Yeah, I know Hunter did most of the work there, I wasn't trying to cut him out. I was just talking about Alex actually seeing a guy open and delivering a good pass that gave Hunter the chance to make that big gain.

Last week, and in the 1st half of this game.. Alex was putting that ball at their knees or in a place where they can just catch it and get hit... or can't catch it at all like the earlier pass to Hunter over the middle.

Yeah, Smith did deliver a good pass to Hunter - no doubt

My impressions about ESPN is that until we get rid of Smith (Alex) they are going to diss us. They are the Cazic's of the sports media empire.

Probably not as much as you'd think. Just the cost of putting the whole team up in a hotel for a week. From what I read this weak, Youngstown takes a lot of pride in being connected to the 49ers and the DeBartelo/Yorks.

I'm guessing that the Yorks are already regular contributors to Youngstown State, probably even donated money for the new facilities?? The University might have let them use their facilities as a thank you for their donations. I'm just guessing this because the Yorks still live there I believe, and wealthy people tend to share the wealth with local Universities to help boost their hometown.

Hmmm, I'm going to pat my own back with this one after a google search.
Yorks donate 1.5 million to YSU

So, I guess technically... it cost them 1.5 million back in 2003 to get the hookup this year. Way to think ahead Dr. York! haha.

One thing I noticed when I watched that game is it seemed that the Niners defense hit a helluva lot harder than the Eagles on defense. Bowman, Willis, Smith, Brooks and Goldson were unleashing some hard hits out there. The Eagles, other than Babin and maybe Nnamdi, weren't bringing the same intensity.

I've read several quotes the last 2-3 years from opposing teams where they comment about how physical we are and how sore they are after playing us. I love it!

For staying back east, Ok, but certainly not for his timid game plan. He only opened it up in the secomd half because he had no choice. Harbaugh has a chance to learn something here and thank goodness he can learn it from a win and not a loss.

That's what I was referring to....on the latter part, I'm hoping the team gets confidence in their ability to move the ball....I also can't wait for Braylon to get back.

I'm excited about that as well. I was saying earlier in the thread that if Crabtree can stay healthy when Edwards comes back they are going to have a pretty good passing attack using Davis as well. I also like what I saw from Morgan in his limited action.
