I have to give it to Alex. He played so much further beyond expectations than everyone else.

Smith has it especially tough because he justifiably doesn't have confidence in his offensive line. If you know your line has you covered and you can just concentrate on what is developing down field, that is a big advantage for a QB.

J Smith made the game winning TO....
A Smith was the pass rush we needed in defense...
Gore ran strong and hard...
Bowman back his words and played Pro Bowl-ish today...
Hunter was the lightning bolt we need on offense and it showed today...

It would be Bowman and Hunter for me.....

Haha...I have to remember we have two A.Smith's on the team right now; I was referring to Alex Smith. What's cool is there are a few very deserving of it.

I was thinking give it to a banged up Gore....big runs when we needed it....an no fumbles.

But Smith made big throws when we needed it. We just needed it earlier than Gore's big runs. And he didn't throw any INTs.

LOL.... ah i didn't even think of that... lol... i guess seeing Jsmith first kept me in the defensive mindset...

A Smith led the comeback no doubt. He's just as worthy too.... to come back from 20pts, multiple players needed to play like MVPs...

and we got that from our guys.

Was at buffalo wild wings and I was sitting by a guy from Philly and you could tell the mood swings from 1st half to 2nd half.. One of the waiters was a 49er fan and he was standing by me and talking about the game for the last 5 min, he stopped doing his job. lol.. What a game!!

When we was flushed out to the right and found Hunter for that big pickup, that might have been his best play on the game. That was great by Alex.

That was why I wasn't mad at them for just falling on the fumble at the end instead of returning. Will gladly take the sure recovery in that situation.

Yeah, I know Hunter did most of the work there, I wasn't trying to cut him out. I was just talking about Alex actually seeing a guy open and delivering a good pass that gave Hunter the chance to make that big gain.

Last week, and in the 1st half of this game.. Alex was putting that ball at their knees or in a place where they can just catch it and get hit... or can't catch it at all like the earlier pass to Hunter over the middle.
