That was without Rodgers to push back the defense. In the first game against Detroit, Lacy had 23 carries for 99 yards - not a great average, but a productive game. The next week, he had 23 for 120 against the Ravens. I don't think he's a huge threat, but a physical running back playing with a QB who can spread the field is almost always dangerous IMO.

^^^ Somebody who understand football as mentioned previously for 7 games Lacy had the box stuffed with no respect for the pass when Rodgers was not playing and we were still ranked the #7 rushing offense. And Lacy is not the only one as there has been time split between Starks and him keeping them both more fresh and equal in yards.

I was sadly at that game and will be at the game on Sunday. I surely hope the ride home is better this time.

So from a personal POV, as a fan, were you given some sort of heater relief or something? or relying on group body heat?

Great Dayne

I was right even if you believe I was wrong

The cold gives the advantage to SF clearly. The Packers are a passing team and only have had legit success vs poor run defenses. They have not made any significant improvements or additions to show they will be capable of consistently running well vs the SF D. SF has an exception passing and running attack and has thrived in the run game, especially vs GB. GB's D has been plagued with injuries throughout the year and their run defense has deteriorated as the season progressed. Not a single 49ers fan should be worried about this game. You have superior coaches, players, and even the weather is in your favor. The only thing to worry about is if the flight makes it safely to GB.

Are you the Toby Tyler of the Packers board?

Maybe we can set up some sort of trade?

There is no heat provided for fans you just wear many layers and with everyone all bundled up next to each other on the benches as there are not individual seats you just try to stay warm. I bring a chunk of 2" thick styrophome to stand on to keep boots off the concrete floor tis helps feet stay warm along with those heat packs you can put in your gloves and boots. The thing is at that Giants game my feet were good until the start of the 4th quarter. Ya just have to keep things moving. The thing is that there can be an issue with creating crowd noise as everyone has gloves on so clapping is not effective and in order to yell people will have to slide down their scarves covering their noses and lips. And it will be more of a pain to do that than to not take time to yell.

Isn't today the travel day for SF? I wonder if they will be delayed with all the snow

I guess if you ignore when they ran for 180 against CIN and DET and 140 against the Ravens while Rodgers was playing.

For those with the NFL network, I believe they are replaying the week 1 Niners-Pack game at 4pm central today.

49ers are going to dominate this game. We have better blockers on the line, to set the edge, and on the perimeter. No one wants Rodgers re-injurying his collarbone on the hard as concrete tundra. There's a huge difference in 32 and 22 degrees, don't even want to think about being in -5 for over an extended period of time. I don't think the passing game will be a factor but if it is we got to watch out for Andrew Quarless and the GB screen game.

Boldin isn't worried about the weather, saying he was in Denver with Baltimore last postseason at -15 degrees.

In Twitter, I copy link to tweet and paste it into SportsHoopla. I have to refresh once for some reason and then it's magically there. Hope this helps.

When you copy a link to a tweet you'll see a very long number. See bolded.

https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/419229569619886080

Insert that number like this ["TWEET]419229569619886080[/TWEET"]. I put the quotes in there so you can see the tags, but remove them otherwise the tweet won't show up. Hope this helps.
