Too bad. I had hoped that a change in defensive styles might resurrect his career a little bit. At least he still has Kerrry Washington when he goes home at night.

A very nice consolation prize no? And my wife told me last night she is pregnant so I think ASO will be A OK

""Manningham made 42 receptions for 449 yards and one touchdown in 12 games and 10 starts last season before injuring his left knee in a loss at Seattle Dec. 23""

Hmm, is this the type of production that will lift us from our current place as the lowest ranked passing attack in the league? We shall see.

Manningham coming back can't do anything but bring up our passing numbers. When Crabtree comes back that will be great, between Crabs and Boldin and Manningham and Davis Kaepernick will have plenty of options.

One would hope so.

It certainly won't hurt our passing numbers. Plus it potentially takes the double off of either Boldin or Davis

He didn't put up numbers that make you think he's a huge difference maker, but one thing manningham was good at, is moving the chains. I'll take what manningham offered us over what moore and baldwin have done any day.

Also take your time to look at the "Crabtree Photos in today's practice":

Sweet! With Crabby back the Niners' offense is entirely different than the unit that went into Seattle.
