I don't know if you can stop Lynch but we've actually done a good job of limiting his impact this season.

We've kept him to a 3.5ish YDS/A in both games this season and his longest run in the last game was only 11 yards so to me that's stopping him enough to be able to win the game.

The bigger key will be getting our own run game going and I think we should attack them with a 3 headed monster of Gore, Hunter, and Kap. This might be a good game to bring in LMJ and hit them with read option as well.

I just think when you play a team for the 3rd time and you know each other so well you have to throw them some curves to keep them off balance and make them unsure.

I agree.. You can't completely stop Lynch... Heck, even containing him is a major task... The best way to limit him being a factor in the game is by controlling the TOP and scoring TD's ... Make Seattle play catch up so they throw the ball more than handing it off to Lynch... But even that is easier said than done

Per ESPN, Mortenson, Percy Harvin is OUT for sunday's match...

not a big shock for me nor a concern, I was already in the pretense that he would've been out or wouldn't affect the offense as much as some inclined... if anything, had Harvin been ok to play, just means less touches/attempts for Lynch... Im good with that

Blount: I think Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle running game showed last week against the New Orleans Saints they can get the job done against a quality defensive front that loaded the box to stop them.

NO's D overall was pretty good this season, but they weren't good on the road and were very shaky against the run. 19th in YPG, and 28th in YPC. It'll be a little different playing against a team that's top-10 in both. Not to say that we'll stop them completely, but if we can play Lynch like we did last game, we're in good shape.
