True they did hang on to their key guys on the DL. They're depth got hit pretty hard there though.

That's like planning weddings on Husker game day. Go for it, just don't plan on many being there.

I had a college friend that had his wedding the same time as the Husker Pitt game mind you not by his choice. I was an usher for the wedding. The wedding party had a private room in the church all to themselves there was a big screen tv in there we flipped the damn thing on and found the game on tv. It just happen, a cooler with beer was there, my college buddies who were ushers all sat down drank some cold beers and watched the game on tv. We never ushered anybody into the wedding. The bride and here family sure were pissed off. The groom never said jack shit about it other then the fact he wish he would have been in there to.

Here is the reality. Devaney and Osborne were two great coaches. We were spoiled. Only so many coaches reach that pinnacle (Switzer, Paterno, Bowden). There are only so many in that club across all of CFB. Nebraska's had 3 since who couldn't reach that level of Saban/Meyer. Riley has yet to reach that status.

Somewhere deep within Memorial Stadium Tom still has a stash of special roids hidden.

Riley must find this in order to get this team back to elite status.

Osborne found it in 1992 and rehid it when he retired.
