I stayed away from posting during the game and it paid off.. Huge victory... But I am not that thrilled with it if you ask me. I wasn't that impressed with the offense to be completely honest and Gostowski flat out sucks in Miami. Very easily could have come back to bite them but the Patriots defense was absolutely AMAZING!

The officials were trying to give the Dolphins any kind of call so they could at least kick a FG. I expect to see more of it until the 9th game of the season. Pats are not going to get away with anything close. Notice that CBS did not replay the 15 ysard penalty on Slater? This guy is an All ProST player and he got pushed out of bounds and came back in after maybe 4 or 5 steps at full speed. One of the holding calls on Newhouse was real, the second one was questionable and CBS didn't show that one either.

43-0 is a nice win, especially in Miami. It was hot on the field. The thermometer over by the Pats bench was reading 93 most of the afternoon. The official air temp was 89. They get to come to Foxboro in January. Payback's a bitch.

The only negative was Gostkowski. Shitty hold or not, no experienced kicker misses two PATs. Unforgivable. The 48 yard FG was just a yank. His misses are always a pull or shank left. All he has to do iuskick the ball straight and forget trying to put english on it when there's no wind. He will be gone if he misses and more chip shots.

7-10 away isn't a bad record against any team by anybody not named Tom Brady. Of course you gotta compare Tom to Tom and say that sucks... but it really doesn't.
