word ditto could not have said it anybetter. i am so excited had a chance to go tonight but chose to stay home. i think i jinxed them last year in the baltimore game. GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We don't always agree on everything, but this is one of the best posts I've seen. Is Wash the best tactical manager in baseball? LMAO, not hardly, although there's no guarantee the arm chair QB's decisions are any more correct. But to your main point, how is Wash at having his team bust their ass for 162? I would say he is the very finest in the game. This team plays hard, they have chemistry, and there's no reason to think they won't go right on winning. I would bet the house that JD fixes what's wrong with this roster, and with a full deck, Wash leads them to 95-100 wins and a deep run next year. And if they get past their two toughest games of the season, tonight and Wed, I honestly believe they win the World Series this year. Go Rangers!
Then you think all of baseball is stupid. Players get paid for production. Their talent level is responsible for said production. Some guys have outlier seasons and they get paid for that as well. That's why I said perceived talent level. There is no promise that a player like that will ever live up to their contract. You said "I'm thankful for what the Texas Rangers have become. I put that on ownership, Nolan, JD, Washington and his staff."I didn't say anything other than they do not have league superior talent.
Perceived talent level? Shit, for such a smart guy, that is the stupidest thing I've read today.

Every team has guys making league minimum or not much higher. If you pay that kind of money for a bad product, then you aren't very smart with your money and should be laughed at heartily.there are levels between superior and mediocre and together all those levels produce a 120M payroll

gotta show your allegiance some how
He is convinced that we are all in collusion against him. He calls it a "circle jerk."I really don't have any specific allegiance to anyone on here by the way. Your comments themselves just make it seem like you are angry about something or that you want to argue. Either way... good luck with that, I got a game to watch.

Yet you claim this team doesn't have superior talent. I've never seen you once verify this claim. You just pawn that off as fact or hide behind your "right to an opinion."
ogando and garza available for long relief? and who pitches 8th and 9th?
You won't even quantify what any of that means. You just say words and assign no meaning to them. I responded to your sheer ignorance that you post in every last awful opinion that you throw out. You hide behind your opinions and never back up a damn thing you say with any facts. I honestly don't know why I continue to reply to anything you have to say, because it's the biggest waste of time and I must be supremely bored. What the fuck are you talking about?
You went off on a tangent about nothing at all here. Get over it that not everyone is up your ass here
Correct....this team doesn't have superior talent. They are very talented, but that talent is not superior.
There is much to develop before I call this team superior to most all other teams in this league.
whats funny is you and your boy getting your panties wadded by the opinion that the talent in Texas isn't superior league wide.

I like the fact that we are facing a primarily fastball pitcher so I feel better about Martin's chances. Moreland, too. My biggest concern for us is on the mound. TB usually shows good patience and puts the ball in play. It will be a chore for a rookie in a do or die game who sometimes loses focus. If he winds up pitching from behind in the count to TB hitters he could see a quick hook.
