Just like that, a week has passed. Now they fly to Pheonix and try to at least look good against the 6-7 Cardinals.

For some reason, the Patriots have played some of their better games on the slide in and out grass. Natural grass. Real grass.
Real football??? One can only wish.

Seahawk-tuas contained Murray pretty well. He didn't get out and run like he normally does. Back-to-back picks didn't help the Cards either. FWIW?

Defence is going to have to get after Murray. Make him erratic. Like Seattle did last week.

The Seahawks contained Murray. Basically shit down his run game. I'm not sure this defense can keep him from getting his yards on the ground.

Patriots declared WR Javon Baker, LB Marte Map, QB Joe Milton, OG Tyrese Robinson, and OL Cole Strange inactive for Week 15 against the Cardinals.
Baker has barely seen the field this year and is out with a concussion for Week 15. The rookie has one target and no receptions as his first NFL campaign nears an end.

I don't know how many of you saw this tragedy, but the Patriots got to the red zone and inside the 5 repeatedly and just could not stick the ball into the endzone. Finally in the fourth quarter Maye pushed the team and literally carried them on his back. Boutte looked like he was asleep for half of the offensive snaps. Then he mishandled a pass and tossed into a defenders's hands that Maye was given an INT for.

At one point maye was 10-10 for 77 yards. Then the receivers began to reach for passes rather than jump for them. Maye ran the final score in himself and the Final was 30-17 Cardinals.

This defense just cannot tackle. Conner ran one big one for 58 yards and scored two TDs..Gonzalez was spectacular. He stripped Marvin Harrison Jr twice in the end zone and never laid a hand on him in coverage. Even the CBS announcers said he should be an AFC All Pro.

Johnathan Kraft looked like he wanted to kill Antonio Gibson and was expressing his anger to his father who was agreeing with him. On two consecutive plays Gibson ran sideways for a loss of one and then did exactly the same thing and lost five. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Gibson was thrown out of the plane on the way back.

Maye needs a better OL. Simple as that. Give him three or four seconds before he has to run for his life and he'll be as good as Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. He can't do a thing with hat he's surrounded with. Hope that he can survive the remainder of this season without any kind of injury.

I know I and others keep saying this, Kraft needs to open his wallet and fix the OL in FA. DL with their first pick in the draft. Can likely trade down and still get Mason Graham.
At the very least they better take the best T available if they don't fix it in FA. Anything else would be ridiculous.

Fill the skill positions thru the remainder of the draft. If Maye has time this WR/TE group will do ok. Find offensive skill players in the next draft if need be. Build this team from the inside to the outside.

I agree on most you said. We were in the redzone 3 times. Got 2 TD’s and the horrible goal line stand. Not a bad redzone performance. But it was Maye pretty much on his own when they were close.

The Boutte miss handled pass was poorly thrown behind him. He was turning and reaching back for the pass when he tossed it in the air.

But like you said… do EVERYTHING you possibly can to fix the offensive and defensive lines. Once again…. Not 1 sack or QB hit in this game.

Also.. once again Mayo throwing someone under the bus with his AVP comment on play calling. I’ve never in my life seen a coach do/say what he’s saying about the team.

I would not go so far as to say Bouttee mishandled the pass he and Maye were not on the same page. It was behind him. He actually had a pretty good game. Not sure what you mean about reaching for passes, Maye is not the issue we all know that but not all his throws were great throws.

I agree this defense has taken a huge step back if not for Gonzo the score could easily be in the upper 40s. Covington is horrible.

It looked to me like Kraft was pissed about the shitty O Line play. IMO Gibson had a good game. If the oline is not blocking RBs will attempt to extend the play stretch it out. I wonder how much of this is VanPelt.

And in the RZ in the third quarter Maybe missed a pretty open Polk. And again Maye is running for life the O line is bad. Two coaches need to go Covingoton and who ever our O Line coach is

This is why I would fire him.

If he can't make snap decision on how to take accountability, he's never going to be able to make a snap decision with a critical game on the line.

Yep. Clearly the team is not rallying behind his doubtful leadership. You watch other teams, the players are so much more focused. The “we just need to play and execute better” mantra is so worn out, and quite frankly does not translate into better play on the field. There is no cohesion whatsoever in this team.

I watched the second half, there were opportunities to tie and maybe take the lead. But, so many dumb plays destroyed whatever momentum they were picking up. I only watched parts, my home improvement project was much more interesting and fun. Even watching paint dry on a sheetrock wall I was fixing was more entertaining.

I spent three years on my home improvement project, two things to do and I am done. Good Luck with it all

I'm on board with that. His left tackle is playing like he's not even on the fields, then they call for a fourth and less than 1 to run behind the guy... What ?

Conversation went like this:

JM: Let run it to the left.
AVP: But that guy can't even cast a shadow by blocking the sun.
JM: He's due for a good play and we'll look like geniuses when it succeeds.
AVP: And when it doesn't?
JM: It'll be what's his face's fault.

What's his face blocked nobody on the play.
