Brady is rich, famous and married to a supermodel - we don't owe him anything.
He'll play until he sucks and then he'll be benched or cut. Respectfully of course.....

I think Brady retires before he lets his game go to shit.

CSN New England's Tom Curran gets the sense the Patriots may have to eventually force Tom Brady's hand and make him retire or trade him.

Brady's deal runs through 2019 at cheap salaries of $1 million in 2017 and $14 million in 2018-19. While Brady continues to be the best player in the sport, the Patriots continue to sit on Jimmy Garoppolo, refusing to trade him as it seems they're preparing for him to eventually replace Brady. But as Curran puts it, "the quarterback position in New England will have to be pried from [Brady's] cold, dead hand." Brady has said he has zero plans to retire anytime soon, while his father said a couple years back that Brady would play until he's 70. That would put the ball in the Patriots' court. If it happens, it will surely be messy. Coach Bill Belichick may be the only one with the stones to do it
ive been saying this for 3 years...hes going to SF after 2017.

theres a reason they didnt trade jimmy for a fortune of picks. bill loaded the team up. bradys doing endorsements and japanese commercials now. he never did before. hes cashing in for a reason...

2017 they try for 19-0 to cap his career here. then he goes back home to SF, in montanas shoes, plays 2-3 years there...helps SF get back on track...and rides off into the sunset. hes not playing past 45 no matter what he says. giselle wont let him.

I think that will be this season, Atlanta was destroying them and then went out for pizza....But showed how easy it has become to beat Brady if you play the whole 60 minutes....I think if he makes it through this season without a major injury, they will win 10 games but either miss the playoffs or go 1 and done on the road....

Brady has earned the right to retire when he wants too.

I agree, I just think it should be now with his 5th SB win....I really don't think he will sniff another one...
I don't care how good of shape your muscles and cardio is, older bodies tend to break down under impact.
Injury is inevitable if he continues and this would have been a high that the Pats fans could have rode forever.
If he bums out now, that high is dimmed immensely.....

dont think it will be when he sucks or when the pats think it will be the perfect time.
It will be when they need to redo his contract with his nice size signing bonus.
Instead of going into cap hell & over paying for a contract he wont be able to fulfill. That is when they will cut Brady even if he has a year or 2 left in the tank.
The Pats have never been afraid of releasing a player before paying for their final contract. They always get some other team to do that.
This is the one thing the pats are very good/smart about.

To be perfectly honest I thought that he might have turned in his cleats after this last Super Bowl. I know he has a lot left but why not go out on top.. Especially with a win like that and one that will most likely never happen again (the comeback i mean)

I felt the same way for a split second. When he was down on the ground, and Belichick was trying to get to him, plus breaking down on the podium. It was the first time I thought he might just get up tomorrow and say "that was my last game, I've given it everything".

You know people have been saying that for many seasons now right? It will happen eventually, but you don't actually know at this point and your are just guessing like everyone else.

The question becomes do they sign Jimmy Garrapollo for starter money at the end of this season?

or does Jimmy accept backup money because he is a coward that doesnt really care about playing football?

The demise of the Brady lead Patriots has been making the rounds on the airwaves since they first won a SB against the Rams.

Only un-informed idiots would say that

Brady doesnt get tackled, doesnt use his legs, he should play longer than any QB that does

They play in a division that has been absolutely awful since Brady entered the league

And they play in a conference with a maximum of 2 or 3 serious SB contendors

Id love to predict the Patriots demise, but id be doing that with my heart and not my head

You might want to actually look up the historical record, your post isn't very accurate, and appears to be from more of a bias than actual critical thought.
